We guide every single moment so nothing feels forced or awkward. You just focus on being together. We take care of everything else.
WHAT TO EXPECT WITH YOUR FAMILY SESSION AT REFLECTIONS
Here's what your family session looks like:
Book a quick planning call. A 10-minute chat to answer your questions, pick a date, and choose a location, outdoors or in our Grimsby studio.
We plan it together. We help you choose outfits for the whole family from our studio wardrobe, so everyone looks like they belong together.
Show up & enjoy it. Christine does your hair & makeup. Karen guides every moment, so the kids can just be kids and you can just be with them. Pets are welcome too.
See your photos & bring them home. One week later, at your image reveal & design appointment, we help you choose your favourites and design your artwork.
Our outdoor season runs late May to early November, and the best dates go first. Studio sessions are available all year.

That's more common than you'd think, and it's completely okay. We've been doing this for 20+ years and we know how to put people at ease. We guide everyone through natural interactions that feel real, not posed. Most people forget about the camera pretty quickly once we get started.

Honestly, that's our job, not yours. We’re used to working with kids of every age and energy level. Coming in well-rested and fed always helps, and bringing a favourite snack or small toy is never a bad idea. But you don't need to manage anyone. Just let them be kids.

We always have a backup plan. If conditions aren't right, we'll reschedule, no stress, no penalties. We'll be in touch with you on session day so you always know what's happening.

Digital images are available for purchase as a set, or as part of your artwork investment. The more artwork you choose, the lower the digital image cost. We go through everything together at your image reveal & design appointment.

Both! From late May to early November, most families choose an outdoor session at one of our favourite spots near Grimsby, like a tree tunnel or the beach. Studio sessions are available all year in our bright Grimsby studio. We help you choose on your planning call.

Yes, professional hair & makeup with Christine is included in every Signature session. Most moms come to our Grimsby studio to get ready first, so they get a quiet moment to themselves before the session. If it’s easier, Christine can come to your home instead.

Yes! Grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins are all welcome. Just tell us who’s coming on your planning call, so we can plan the groupings and help everyone look like they belong together.
