I'm Karen, Grimsby photographer, mom of four, and I know firsthand how fast this stage goes.
When my kids were little, I was in full survival mode. I had four kids under ten, a never-ending to-do list, and days that moved so fast they blurred together. I have photos from those years, but if I'm honest, I barely remember living them. The stages came and went, and I was just too overwhelmed to be fully present for any of it.
I didn’t want other moms to experience it like I did.
That’s why I built Reflections:
A full-service Grimsby photography experience designed for moms to get the family photos they want, without the stress.
MEET THE REFLECTIONS HAIR & MAKEUP ARTIST & STUDIO ASSISTANT
I'm Christine, hair & makeup artist, stylist, and the person doing a hundred little things behind the scenes so your session goes smoothly.
I do your hair & makeup before your session, and I help with wardrobe too. My goal is simple, to make you look like the best version of you, not a different you. I enhance what you already have, so you feel confident, not covered up.
During your studio session, I'm right there with you, fixing flyaway hairs, smoothing out wardrobe, and making sure you look great in every shot.
I live in Grimsby with my husband and our two boys. I'm told I'm pretty hilarious and I genuinely love this job. I love being part of your Reflections experience from start to finish.
Here's what your session at our Grimsby photography studio will look like:
STEP 1
You’ll pick outfits for your family from our wardrobe room.
Our Grimsby studio has clothing options for the entire family including mom, husband, kids, and etc. We have a full, size-inclusive wardrobe right here in the Grimsby studio. You don't need to coordinate a single outfit.
STEP 2
You’ll get styled by a professional hair and makeup artist.
You’ll work with our lead hair and makeup artist, Christine. She’ll transform you from dry shampoo and sleepy eyes to “wow, I look like I got a full 8 hours!”
STEP 3
You’ll move into the studio space to take your photos
I’ll gently guide your session. No awkward standing around, wondering what to do. Your photos feel and look natural (because they are).
STEP 4
You’ll come back to the studio for your custom design appointment
After your session, we sit down together and I help you choose your artwork. You don't have to guess what will look good on your walls, I'll show you exactly what will.
STEP 5
You’ll get your artwork printed and installed in your home
Once you’ve chosen your artwork, we’ll handle the printing and framing. Then, we’ll show up to install it on your walls for you.
